glór is Clare’s community venue, celebrating the best of entertainment, music, theatre, art, food, and people.

The core business of glor is to provide a community performance space, to host high quality international and national acts and essentially to provide an exceptional place of entertainment for the people of Clare.

Glor – Irish Music Centre provides a forum for Irish musicians and artists to showcase their work to local, national and international audiences in an environment which respects and supports the traditions and evolution of Irish music.

As a regional arts centre, glór provides artists and the people of Clare with access to excellence in a diverse range of cultural programming in a purpose-built arts space.

glor’s programming is varied to include music (all categories from traditional to popular), theatre, dance, film, and comedy. glór hosts a huge number of community events within the year including school concerts, fundraisers, local amateur dramatics, childrens’ workshops and specific educational exhibitions.
