- All work is performed on quality ProTools HD equipment with extremely high quality results. We have the best mics and for that special sound we have four 50 year old vintage microphones. We also have a custom built isolation booth that boasts extreme comfort.

- We have created adverts for national radio stations such as NewsTalk 106-108FM and Radio Nova, we can create the right radio advert (jingle) for your business. Very good rates and professional friendly service.

- If you have a song that you would like to record for a demo or if you have a demo and need it edited to a high standard well we can do it. Based in the heart of Dublin City Centre on the beautiful Merrion Square, the school offers a huge number of courses including piano lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons and also unusual instruments such the French Horn, the Cor Anglais and the Tuba.

Lessons are available to adults and children of all ages and abilities.

Special courses are available to prepare students for their Junior and Leaving Certificate Music exams and The Kids Quavers Academy for younger children is an excellent introduction to music for youngsters.

With an impressively qualified and experienced teaching staff (all former graduates of Dublin’s Conservatory of Music in D.I.T.) and a massive 26 different courses currently on offer, Merrion School of Music has something to offer everyone.

He is a veteran of television and radio, regularly performing with the
RTE Concert Orchestra, Hibernian Orchestra, Dublin Orchestral Players and the National Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ireland.

His many television credits include The Late Late Show and RTE 1′s Big Little Music Show. He has played on a host of Ireland’s biggest radio show’s including The Tubridy Show, RTE Radio 1 and Lyric FM live broadcasts.

Stage credits include West Side Story, Joseph and His Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat, Honk, The Sound of Music and Annie Get Your Gun.

Before establishing the Mobile Music School, Shay held a number of
teaching positions including at the Artane Boys Band and Kilternan
School of Music. He has a BA (Hons) in Music.

His passion for his craft began while still a child in Artane,
learning from some of Ireland’s leading percussionists, including
Eugene Murphy, Diarmaid Frain, Peadar Townsend and later James Dunne of the RTE Concert Orchestra.

It is precisely this love of music that he passes on to others through
his Mobile Music School.
